Andrew Curry is a journalist and freelance foreign correspondent based in Berlin. He covers science, history, politics and culture.
In more than 15 years as a journalist, he has reported from five continents and written for a wide range of magazines, including Wired, Discover, National Geographic and Smithsonian. He is a contributing editor for Archaeology magazine.
Curry's work has appeared in both The Best American Science and Nature Writing and The Best American Science Writing. In 2009, he was awarded the Arthur F. Burns Journalism Prize by the German Foreign Ministry, and in 2012 he made Byliner.com's "101 Spectacular Non-Fiction Stories" list.
